Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek, an American actress. Her most well-known role is her character of Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 movie White Chicks Danielle Brooks of the USA Network series Covert Affairs as well as Dr. Amber Volakis of the Fox show House. Dudek was born and raised at home in Massachusetts. She went to Northwestern University, where her first performance as an actress was in a theatrical production called The Iphigenia Cycle. She was awarded The Joseph E. Caloway Award for her outstanding performance during this New York City production. American Theater Magazine also featured Dudek as one of ten theater actors to be followed. Dudek got roles on TV and on the big screen. The talented actress, and mother of two on screen was engaged from 2008 until the year 2016 with Matthew Heller. Dudek is a Boston Massachusetts native born on March 22nd 1975, but she was raised in Newton. When she was a child, she attended Northwestern University. She appeared in a variety of theater shows and also made her Broadway debut in Wrong Mountain. Later, she was awarded the Connecticut Critics Circle Award for her role on The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group was the first British drama-comedy she appeared in. Since then, she has appeared in several guest roles on television shows, including Desperate Housewives, Friends How I Met Your Mother Charmed Bones Six Feet Under and Desperate Housewives. In the first episode of Psych, she appeared as Lucinda as well as In Law & Order Criminal Intent an instructor who was in an affair with her student. Dudek got her first role at House in the fourth season as Amber Volakis. Amber is among the forty of Dr. Gregory House's forty candidates to be the permanent House team. She was a character throughout the year, before she was killed off in house's final Heart and Head episode. Later, she would reappear in the show's episode Saviors of Season 5, as the hallucination of House. She continued to appear in this role for the remainder of the season. Dudek made an appearance in Mad Men, as the neighbor who lived next to Francine Hanson. Also, she played the antagonistic wife for Alby Grant in Big Love. Both roles were regular. Dudek was the first to make her Covert Affairs debut in 2010 in the role of Danielle Brooks' sister. She has also appeared in movies playing the role of the heir to the cruise line Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy White Chicks and also played Anthony Hopkins's daughter in The Human Stain.
