Shawnee Smith, born July 3rd, 1970 and standing 5'3 inches, is an American performer and singer. Smith's most recognizable roles are as Amanda Young and Linda on the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith was a member of the band metal Fydolla ho, and with whom she toured in The United States and United Kingdom. Smith is also a part of Smith & Pyle, a group of desert-country musicians formed by Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith, the second daughter of Patricia Smith, a nurse in oncology and Jim Smith former US Air Force pilot and financial planner was born in Orangeburg South Carolina. After she reached the age of one old, her family relocated to South Carolina and California to Van Nuys. Their parents separated at the age of two years age. She was then eight. She graduated from North Hollywood High School, North Hollywood California in 1987. In 2019, she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and lyrics with collaborators in songwriting Jack Dolgen and the late Adam Schlesinger for Antidepressants Are So Not a Big Deal. Live show by Rachel Death Let Me Do My Special is currently touring in spring/summer of 2023. Her Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Tour sold out Radio City Music Hall as part of a multi-show tour in the year 2019. The same year, she was on her own one-woman show called What Am I going to do with My life Now? The tour also featured a residency of a week at Just For Laughs.
